Pegging is a term used to describe the act of a female wearing a strap-on dildo and penetrating a male partner in the anus.
Why would a guy want to be pegged?
Legitimate question right here, why would a straight man want to take a dildo up the Hershey Highway? The short answer is pleasure…but let’s expand on that a little. There are two places where a man can get pleasure from in the backdoor. The first is the old chocolate starfish itself, the anus. The anus (or butthole) is loaded with nerve endings and stimulating those nerves can be quite pleasurable. Often, the first step towards pegging is playing with the butthole, doing a little rimming action, inserting a finger, and eventually some kind of toy. The second is the Male P Spot, this is the prostate gland that is easily accessed via the anal cavity. The P spot is about 2 inches inside the rectum and a “prostate massage” can generate an intense, full-body orgasm that is totally unlike a penile orgasm. Pegging will stimulate both the anus nerves and can often hit the P spot, making pegging extremely pleasurable for the man.
Why would a woman want to peg a man?
This question isn’t as straight forward because there are multiple possible answers for this one. For many couples, it is simply a way for a woman to give pleasure to her partner, not unlike giving head to each other as there is little to no actual stimulation of the woman. In other couples, this is seen as a power dynamic switch, giving the woman a more dominant position while the man is in a submissive position. This power play is not always the case even though it would seem like it at first glance.
Common Misconceptions
Is it gay?
As I described at the very beginning of this article, pegging is an act between a man and a woman. A man, taking a dildo through the dookie door, is not gay. Gay pertains the the attraction of one person to another person of the same sex. Anal sex is not gay. Many straight women like anal sex, so it is perfectly fine for straight men to enjoy it as well. Gay men do not exclusively do anal sex, they do hand jobs, blow jobs, kissing, holding hands, etc. and we do not consider those acts to be gay. Since the act itself is not a homosexual act, you cannot “turn someone gay” by pegging them.
What about pain?
This applies to both a woman having anal sex as well as a man being pegged….there should be no pain. If someone is experiencing any pain, then something is wrong and you need to stop immediately and rectify the situation. Pain can be caused from not enough lube, not being relaxed enough, not warming up, not being aroused, too large of a toy, or starting too quickly. Pain is not good and you do not “work through it”. This is why you should never use anal numbing creams, you need to be able to feel if there is something wrong or you can actually cause internal damage.
What Equipment Do You Need?
For the pegging itself, you will need a harness and a compatible dildo for it, pretty simple stuff and some starter products will be listed below. HOWEVER….it is highly suggested that you work up to pegging with other techniques and toys before stuffing a big silicon sausage in the dung cave. More on this later. You will also need some good lube. You will need a silicone safe lube, usually water based, and something that is designed for anal use will be thicker and last longer than a regular lube.
Prepping for the Pegging
Before jumping in, there are two things to do to prep properly. One is to be physically ready to receive something in the fart box, and the other is the be properly cleaned beforehand. To get physically ready can take some time for some people. This can take several sessions of working up from one finger, to two finger, and even varying sizes of butt plugs. Some guys can just take a small dildo on the first try, but I do recommend starting off with at least some fingers to get used to the feeling.
